Quick Start Guide
The TIC OSAT is designed to measure trauma-informed practices of human service provider agencies, mental and healthcare organizations, and community-based organizations. It is strongly recommended that the survey be sent out to all staff in the organization or program including leadership, supervisors, managers, direct service staff, support staff, and office personnel.
There is no cost to have an account or take the survey. In addition, the reports generated from surveys are also free to view and download.
No. Organizational or program administrators receive a unique link for their program(s) to send to their staff. This link allows an unlimited number of staff that are able to take the survey.
TIC-OSAT is a point-in-time survey and can be deployed to staff before, during, or after any trauma-informed care initiative. We recommend the survey be administered to staff on an annual basis.
We recommend the survey be active from 2 weeks up to one month, this allows time for intended survey takers to complete the survey. Each survey cannot be active for more than one month to maintain the efficacy of the campaign. Please consider the timing of initiating a survey to make sure it does not conflict with other events (i.e., holidays, vacations, etc.)
At this time, only organizations and programs located in New York State can register for an account. Future developments may include roll-outs in other states.
